Just came home from a good trip in KL. Saw many old faces I din't like which led me having to choose between a friendly smile and a different walking route. A bizarre phenomenon in bowling alleys where politics govern choice and the rampant presence of gossip and hypocrisy bring out the very worst in you. But alas, Kaiting-the ever enlightened one quoted this when the subject was brought up "yU hAvE mOrE fReNz is bEtTeR tHaN mOrE eNemIeS". You know it got me thinking if I really love the game...If giving it up is really what I want. All the friends, fun, medals and memories...Sure I'll take that with me. But I don't know if I have taken anything else from this darn game in 5 years..

Anyway, we did less shopping than expected..With Joshua spending hundreds in the Feng Shui shop..Something I could never grasp. Those people are the ones which believe that the world is on the back of an elephant which stands on top of a tortoise. The world is round, hangs on nothing in outer space and if an elephant stood on top of a tortoise we would get juice. I don't understand how putting a figure of 2 dragons in the northwest area of the living room beside water would bring prosperity. It just does not make sense to me. Well we went go-karting! Which was unfortunately changed. The track was reduced from one filled with hairpins ,a mix of uphill and downhill, long straights to a mere circle. But the smart malaysians reduced the price and moved the track further in the barren land so everyone would be like "wtf.we walk so far in..Just play la". It was good.....With Joshua as usual claiming he would whoop everyone's ass and in the end, even fifi beat him. Amazingly, I hardly drank throughout the trip, which is good.

One highlight of the trip was the damn bus. It was more comfortable than an airplane I swear. Massage chair, 10+ games, 20+ movies...It made me wish the ride lasted longer. So we were all geared up in our comfy chairs..When after 2 hours, the darn bus broke down! "sorry sirs, 10 min wiring check" More like breakdown. So Me, Kaiting and Josh were stuck in the middle of nowhere beside a lush Malaysian jungle for an hour. We had spitting contests, started singing and breaking rocks in the ground. Oh well home at last.
Mambo time.
