Haven't written in a while. Luck. Remember my rotten luck? Well things have taken a turn. There's the amazing story of the Gucci wallet-which I have told many many times. But the pleasant sensation it gives me whenever I look at it deems it worthy over the burden of repeating the darn story. Anyway, I lost my wallet a year back along with my identity card and those precious arcade cards-my little darlings. Total loss totaled over 600 buckaroos. I found it a week ago when someone messaged me through friendster to inform me my wallet has been found in school -The wonders of technology and having a real friendster picture.
This is the only time in my entire life where the usual nags I got from the mother about my procrastination fell to pieces as I thankfully did not replace the identity card sooner.

Work has been good. But it reminds me too much of school for me to fully savor its merits. I can see myself dropping out soon. Wanting the old , free and easy wild life back. Too bored at work, I calculated how long it would take to save a million dollars. Assuming we work for say, 50years which is a slightly exaggerated figure I must add.. We would need to save approx. 1667 dollars every month. Which is insane to me! It then occurred to me that anyone can be a millionaire..It was just a question of when. Let's say I start with an investment of USD5000. I would be a millionaire in 53 years with a steady 10% return annually. But you must be saying how difficult it is to sustain a steady 10% growth for 53years! Well Warren Buffet sustained a 20% rate for 40 years. Anyway, the reason why my mind is thinking in millions is because of tomorrow's TOTO HONG BAO 10 MILLION DRAW !
Imagine! Just imagine. 10 million dollars. I'll quit school. Hell quit work for life!
I don't usually gamble. I simply needed some excitment in my life due to the dreadful routine it has become because of work. The power of 7 zeros. My gosh.
Wish me luck and I'll promise I'll buy you a thousand bucks worth of whatever you want if I win.
